There were 184 runners taking part, conditions were very warm but no wind which is well known for this race.

we had 11 Roadents taking part, 1st Roadent home was Paul Graham continuing his strong form finishing in 4th place in 20.07, a below par run from Darren Bishop a minute down on recent performances finishing 17th in 22.19 a sight to behold with no over shorts.

Jim Murray was next finishing in a very respectable 25.36 42nd. The next battle was Iestyn Henson 27.20 64th and Peter Howells 27.24 66th Iestyn just holding on to  a fast finishing Peter.

It was all about a confidence boost for Stephanie Davies in this race and she certainly got that with a solid performance finishing 8th Lady overall in 28.05.

A mad rush from work to make it to the race for Andy Davies 112th in 30.52 left him with a very sluggish start and with Darren Griffiths-Warner 31.00 115th pulling away after the first mile left him with a lot of work to do, with 40m to close in the last mile it was going to be hard work. With the finish in sight 100m to go a final sprint gave him the bragging rights (we won’t mention the runs Darren has completed in the last few days including an Ultra)

Next in was our pin up man David Marther  32.47 133rd, Paul Iddon next 37.15 167th and the mighty Elizabeth Henson 41.47 178th

well done everyone.
